Former presidential candidate and activist, Omoyele Sowore has announced that the demonstrations against bad governance in Nigeria will commence on October 1st, because they want to use that day to fight for genuine freedom.

Recall that Nigerians have for some days now, taken to the streets to demand for an end to bad governance under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

And so Nigerian businessman, Omoyele Sowore while speaking about such protests during an interview with NEWSCENTRALTV few hours ago, disclosed that the protesters will resume their protests on the 1st of October.

In his own words, Omoyele Sowore mentioned that;

“The protest will resume at the beginning of October and it might resume earlier, depending on situational variables. And when we start in October, we will not stop until these demands are met. So, already that conversation is going on amongst the planners and organizers. It will resume on 1st of October, their own independence day. We want to fight for real independence starting from that day.”
