TikTok Sensation Kubra Aykut, 26, Dies in Tragic Fall from Istanbul High-Rise
Turkish social media influencer Kubra Aykut, renowned for her viral “Wedding without a Groom” videos, has died aged 26 after plummeting from the fifth floor of a luxury apartment building in Istanbul.
Aykut’s lifeless body was discovered in the Sultanbeyli district, with a suicide note reportedly found nearby, according to Turkish media.
Concerns had been raised over Aykut’s well-being following recent posts about her struggles with weight loss.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with Aykut’s body undergoing a post-mortem examination before being transported to her hometown of Bursa for burial.
Mourners, including fellow influencer Dilan Polat and lawyer Enes Çetinkaya, believed to be Aykut’s long-term partner, attended the funeral.
Aykut’s final video, posted shortly before her death, showed her meticulously cleaning her apartment.
Her rise to fame began with an elaborate solo wedding ceremony in 2023.
