President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has responded to news regarding the initiation of production at the Port Harcourt refinery. Bwala emphasized that this development signifies Tinubu’s commitment to his promises within the energy sector.
In a post on X, he stated, “President @officialABAT is fulfilling his pledge in the energy sector with the Port Harcourt refinery now set for full operation. Thank you, Mr. President.”
Reports on Tuesday indicated that the refinery had indeed commenced fuel production, a fact confirmed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
NNPCL spokesman Oluremi Soneye announced that truck loading would commence that day, stating, “Port Harcourt Refinery begins production.
Truck loading starts today, Tuesday.”
