He was re-elected at the 65th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria.
Tinubu’s current tenure is set to end on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
During the summit, President Tinubu urged ECOWAS member states to make financial commitments to help in the battle against terrorism in the region.
