Tribute To A Great Hero,Our Patron.

I Hon Dr. Samuel Udeh FCAI, JP (Ezeumuokorobia) Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Imo State Chapter, on behalf of my family and members of the Union, deeply commiserates with the family of Iwuanyanwu, Ikeduru Indigenes, Council of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, on the demise of their son, brother, father, president, and the Grand Patron of our great Union (NURTW), Chief Engr. Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, CFR, OFR, MFR, (Aha Eji Aga Mba Ndigbo) who died at age 82.

Late Chief Iwuanyanwu was a true Igbo son, a known titan, leader per excellence, community developer, nationalist, patriot, elder statesman, political juggernaut, hero, renowned sage, altruist, and king maker whose giant strides and landmark achievements traverse all sectors of Nigerian economy.

His death has dealt us, members of NURTW a great blow, as it will rob us the opportunity to continue receiving his fatherly love and care, which he unequivocally demonstrated to us all. He, to a large extent contributed his quota to the development of Nigerian economy by providing job opportunities for many young Nigerians, as well as mentoring them to realize their social, political and economic visions in life.

Generally speaking, our awesome Patron was an inspiring leader who dedicated his life to the service of his community, our dear state and nation in general, leaving behind the legacy of breaking barriers and serving the nation. His unparalleled devotion to his Engineering profession and job creation will not be forgotten in a hurry.

It is a pity that a great Iroko of our time has fallen whose wealth of experience will be indubitably missed. His exodus has left a big vacuum that may be impossible to be filled. I pray for the repose of his gentle and caring soul.

Signed:
Hon.Dr Samuel Udeh,FCAI, JP (Ezeumuokorobia) Chairman, Imo State National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW)
