On June 7, Lagos authorities arrested Ogujiofor Emeka, 41, and Desmond Chima, 31, for the illegal production of adulterated alcoholic drinks at Oko-Arin Market, Lagos Island.

Acting on a tip-off, the CP Tactical Team raided the location, although other suspects escaped.

Recovered items included counterfeit beverages and production materials: five cartons of Jack Daniels, two cartons of Black Barrel, and one carton each of William Lawson, Jameson, Black Label, and Remy Martin.

Additionally, six cartons of empty Glenfiddich bottles, and one carton each of empty Divin Bardar and vodka bottles were seized, along with assorted labels and corks.
