Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie is celebrating his 78th birthday today, March 7, 2025 ¹! Born on March 7, 1947, in Zaria, Kaduna State, Edochie has had an illustrious career spanning over four decades.
He’s renowned for his iconic roles in Nigerian cinema, including his portrayal of Okonkwo in the adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s novel “Things Fall Apart”.
Ekwutosblog has gathered that Edochie’s contributions to the Nigerian film industry have earned him numerous accolades, including an Industry Merit Award from Africa Magic and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Africa Film Academy.
