Russian MP Mikhail Sheremet has made a frightening statement in response to the intensifying war offensive along the Russian-Ukrainian border.
Mikhail Sheremet, MP and ally of President Vladimir Putin, said the Ukrainian invasion of Russia’s hinterland is bringing the world “to the brink of a third world war.”
Mr. Sheremet told state news agency RIA that this conclusion resulted from “irrefutable evidence of foreign involvement” in the attack on the Kursk border region. Moscow maintains that NATO and Western countries helped Kiev, although they have yet to provide evidence of this.
