For instance, Air Peace raised its one-way tickets from Lagos to Asaba from N97,400 to N287,800, while Lagos to Anambra soared to N381,100 in mid-December. Similar increases were observed for routes to Enugu, Owerri, and Uyo.
Amid these price hikes, Aero Contractors offered relief by reducing fares to an average of N80,000 across all routes.
Other airlines like Ibom Air and ValueJet also adjusted their fares, with Lagos to Uyo costing N152,700 and Lagos to Port Harcourt priced at N164,761.
