Zamfara's First Lady, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, Hosts Wedding for 100 Orphaned Girls

The spouse of the Governor of Zamfara State, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has facilitated the marriages of 100 orphaned girls within the region, as reported by New Telegraph.
The brides were well-prepared for the ceremonies and received special attention for their beautification on Thursday, December 19.
A dowry of 151,000 Naira was provided for each bride by the Governor’s wife.
In addition, Huriyya Dauda Lawal supplied vital household essentials, which included furniture sets like sofas, beds, wardrobes, mattresses, and kitchen items.
She also granted each groom N50,000 to help them start a business and achieve financial independence. She encouraged the brides to respect their husbands and practice patience in their new lives.
Furthermore, she assured that the Zakkat and Endowment Board would be available to assist them with any challenges they might face in their marriages.
